Viridis Power has an in-house O&M function to help develop and operate our 15 power generation sites across the UK. Our engineers work closely with the original engine manufacturers to best manage Viridis’ fleet to maximise efficiency and availability through developing new maintenance regimes adopted for highly flexible operation.
The engineering team maintain 244 engines across 15 sites. Through a combination of remote monitoring, site visits and close liaison with the Commercial Team, every engine is constantly monitored and maintained to maximise availability.
Developing a detailed understanding of each site and the design and operation of the four different engine makes used, has created a wealth of O&M knowledge which is a valuable asset for the business as we look to efficiently run these assets in the years to come in the unique operating regime of highly flexible power generation.
